Gwennie’s Getaways - The Memory Café

We are committed to helping those in our local area and have set up a popular Memory Café at The Watershed (Slaithwaite) on a Tuesday from 11.00am till 2.00pm.

​

We have regular visits from professionals who provide practical support and we love to provide entertainment and host craft sessions run by our wonderful volunteers .

When The Memory Cafe first began we only had a handful of people attending and now we regularly see 25+ people each week.

The Chatty Café Scheme

 

Every Thursday (term time only) at Ruddi's in Slaithwaite 10.00am - 12.00pm

Come on join us for a morning of chatting.

Combatting loneliness with chatter and natter.

The Chatty Café Scheme is the UK's leading non-profit organisation tackling loneliness.

 

Anybody over the age of 18 can come along without booking.
